Bacon & Cheddar Cheese Spread Mix 8oz Cream Cheese, Softened 8oz Sour Cream 8oz. Soft cheddar cheesespread or 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese Here is another way to use this mix. Bacon & Cheddar Cheese Spread Mashed Potatoes Casserole 1 Packet of Bacon & Cheddar Cheese Spread mix 8 cups prepared instant mashed potatoes (or 8 cups of real mashed potatoes) 2 table spoons butter 1 cup sour cream (8oz) 2 cups shredded cheese, reserve 1/2 cup of for cheese garnish Preheat oven to 350'. Grease bottom of 9X9 inch glass casserole dish. Make enough instant mashed potatoes for 8 cups serving according to the directions on box. YOU may also use 8 cups of real mashed potatoes. Add remaining ingredients (remember to set aside 1/2 cup of shredded cheese) and mix well. Spread potato mixture into greased casserole dish. Sprinkle 1/2 cup cheese over top and bake until browned and bubbly, approximately 20 minutes. Allow to set 5 minutes before serving. |
